Google on Wednesday ramped up its mobile arsenal, upgrading its Nexus line with a new tablet and smartphone, and unveiling its revamped Android software, to be dubbed "Lollipop."

The US tech giant also announced the launch of a streaming media player for music, movies and videos, which can also allow users to play games via the Android TV device.
"Lollipop" or Android 5.0, the upgraded operating system for mobile, "is designed to be flexible, to work on all your devices and to be customized for you the way you see fit," said Google vice president Sundar Pichai, who heads the Android operations.
With the new operating system, according to the Android Website, "The songs, photos, apps, and even recent searches from one of your Android devices can be immediately enjoyed across all of your Android devices."
The new devices give Google and its Android partners a broader portfolio to compete against Apple, which launched two upgraded large-screen iPhones last month and is expected to unveil new iPads on Thursday.
The Nexus 6 smartphone becomes the newest and largest of the Google-branded handsets, and is produced by Motorola, which Google bought in 2012 and is in the process of selling to China's Lenovo.
This aluminum frame device has a six-inch high resolution screen and a 13-megapixel camera.
"The large screen is complemented by dual front-facing stereo speakers that deliver high-fidelity sound, making it as great for movies and gaming as it is for doing work," Google said in a statement.
"It also comes with a Turbo Charger, so you can get up to six hours of use with only 15 minutes of charge."
On the tablet front, Google partnered with Taiwan-based HTC for the 8.9-inch Nexus 9.
The brushed-metal tablet "is small enough to easily carry around in one hand, yet big enough to work on," Google said.


"And since more and more people want to have the same simple experience they have on their tablets when they have to do real work, we designed a keyboard folio that magnetically attaches to the Nexus 9, folds into two different angles and rests securely on your lap like a laptop."
Google did not disclose pricing for the devices, but said they would be available for pre-order later this month.
The media player will deliver video apps to a television screen for consumers looking to supplement or go without cable or satellite.
Some of the apps included on the player are Netflix, Hulu Plus, the Food Network, Pandora and The Huffington Post.

Here is the tutorial To Root Galaxy S3 I9300 XLE8 Firmware via ClockWorkMod Recovery.
The step to root is simple as same as root via Odin,but one of the advantages root via CWM Recovery method is it will not change the S3 boot screen ( No Yellow Rectangle Warning after root) .

Step1: Download CWM-SuperSU-v0.89.zip (No need unzip after download)

Step 3: Power Off your Galaxy S3.

Step 4: Press Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button until your Phones boot into CWM Recovery Mode. ( [I]This step is almost same to boot your S3 into Downloading Mode)



Step 5: Press volume down until option “Install Zip From SdCard”, then press Power button to select “Install Zip From SdCard” .

Step 6: Now chose “ Choose zip from SDCard”

STEPS :

• Power off Samsung Galaxy S3.
• Press and hold down Volume Down + Home + Power buttons at the same time.
• Press Volume Up button when warning prompt.
• Odin download mode will be loaded.
• Remember your custom binary download counter number.
• Long press Power button to restart Samsung Galaxy S3.
• Remove back cover after Android OS loaded.
• Go to Settings.
• Select About device.
• Select Status ~ show status of battery, network, and other information.
• Device status should be Modified.
• Launch Triangle Away.
• Grant it root access when prompted.
• Download latest update when prompted.
• Double check counter number at Current status is the same as Odin Download Mode.
• Select Reset flash counter if everything is correct.
• Follow Triangle Away instructions then.
• Note – It will boot into Triangle Away bootmode if failed to reset on in Android OS. After reset, pull out battery immediately after rebooting start. Then put battery back.
• Power off Samsung Galaxy S3.
• Press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power buttons at the same time.
• Release all buttons when you see SGS3 Logo.
• ClockworkMod Recovery will be loaded then.
• Go to wipe data/factory reset with Volume Up / Down buttons.
• Select it with Power (or Home) button.
• Then select Yes — delete all user data.
• Select wipe cache partition.
• Then select Yes — Wipe cache.
• After wiping data and cache, pull out battery.
• Put battery and back cover back.
• Press and hold down Volume Down + Home + Power buttons at the same time.
• Press Volume Up button when warning prompt.
• Odin download mode will be loaded.
• Custom binary download should be No, current binary to Samsung Official and system status to Official.
• Connect USB cable to your phone.
• At PC, extract firmware .tar (or .tar.md5) file that you downloaded to Firmware folder.
• Then bring up Odin3.
• Click on PDA.
• Select the .tar (or .tar.md5) at Firmware folder.
• Click Start then.
• Remove USB cable from your phone when you see green PASS! at Odin3.
• Android OS will be loaded.
• Then follow phone onscreen instructions to setup.
• Go to Settings.
• Select About device.
• Build number should be the same as the firmware that you installed.
• Select Status ~ show status of battery, network, and other information.
• Device status should be Normal.

That’s all.

Yeah… Your Samsung Galaxy S3 should be back to stock firmware after you done everything as above. No need to worry about warranty claim now.

By the way, Triangle Away process is not a must have to restore back to stock firmware or downgrade firmware if you don’t need to send back for warranty claim. Custom binary download counter just won’t be reset without Triangle Away process.

Samsung Galaxy S III Official Android 4.1.2

Finally, Samsung has official releases the latest Android firmware, Android 4.1.2 for Galaxy S3 GTi9300. This firmware modem version is I9300XXELKC and CSC is I9300OXXELK4. You can update your Galaxy S3 GTi9300via Samsung Kies software (How To) or OTA update. If Android 4.1.2 still not available or reach on your region, then you still can manually flash Android 4.1.2 firmware into your Galaxy S3 via Odin application. But, please note that manually flash any firmware into your Galaxy S3 will increase the binary counter and void the phones warranty.

As I have mentioned before, as Android application developer, I will update almost all leaked or latest official firmware run on my Galaxy S3. It is important for me or others developer to run test application on the latest firmware. Here is the step by step tutorial share with you how to manually flash Android 4.1.2 I9300XXELKC firmware into Galaxy S3 GTi9300:

• Step 1. You need Samsung Diver to enable your PC able detect and connect to your Galaxy S3. So you can Download Samsung Galaxy Driver ( Link ) or Download and install Samsung Kies on your PC. Restart your PC after installation complete.
• Step 2. Download ( Link ) the S3 firmware (GT-I9300_XEO_I9300XXELKC_I9300OXXELK4_I9300XXELKC.zip ) and then Extract the file and now you will get ( GT-I9300_XEO_I9300XXELKC_I9300OXXELK4_I9300XXELKC.tar file).
• Step 3. Go Setting >Developers option to enable USB Debugging on your Galaxy S3 and then Power off your Galaxy S3.
• Step 4. Press your Galaxy volume Down+ Power Button + Home Button to enter Downloading Mode.
• Step 5. Open Odin on PC, then connect your S3 to PC via USB connect USB.

Sure, to fully utilize Android OS, then we need root the Galaxy s3. Here is the step by step tutorial on how to root and install CWM recovery for Galaxy S3 android 4.0.4, Baseband Version- XLE8:

Before we start

- We are not liable for any damages that could happen to your smartphone. Flash at your own risk. There is a possibility for your phone to get bricked and totally unusable.

-This tutorial , root and install CWM recovery normally will not delete all your phones data and installed application. But, it is Better Create a backup of your phone’s important data to external storage. After backup, remember remove the sdcard before perform root and install CWM recovery task on Samsung Galaxy S3.

- Make sure that Battery power at least 80% full.

- If you do not have Samsung’s KIES installed, download and install it. Correct USB drivers must be installed, so that programs can communicate with the device. Reboot computer after KIES installation.

Tutorial How to install CWM Recovery:

• Step 2: Turn your phones into download mode by pressing and holding VolumeDown + Home + Power simultaneously.
  
• Step 3: Start ODIN on PC.
  
• Step 4: Connect the device to your computer using USB.
  
• Step 5: Wait a few seconds, the ODIN screen will show that a device is now connected. ( If ODIN not detect your device, mean you still not install the s3 driver/ Samsung kies properly or still not enable the Download Mode)
  
  
  
• Step 6: Click the PDA button, then select CF-SGS3-CWM-v5.5-v1.0.tar. (Note: this is .tar file and not is .zip file!)
